These are two temples that are located in the old city of Chiang Mai. Chedi Luang means large pagoda in Thai and this is fitting because the pagoda is one of the largest structures in the city. Phra Singh is a statue of the Buddha that was supposedly very sought after by many temples and finally landed in this one. One of the creepier things that we saw in Thailand was the lifelike wax statue of a monk that used to worship in this temple. People come and pay homage to this deceased monk with flowers and donations.

Visiting the Hill Tribes
There are two sets of hill tribes that we visited, and the one that stood out were the Long Neck Tribes. These women wrap brass cords around their necks from a very young age and only change them 3 times in their lives. Once they are married they wear the same set of rings until they die, and even use straw to wash their necks inside the brass. The brass is so heavy that it lowers the position of the shoulders making them appear as if they have longer necks.
Trying out a primitive cross bow, I hit they bulls-eye all 3 tries
